This double twist stool table is hand carved from one piece of solid monkey pod wood. Finished in a rich honey wax polish, this stunning piece has multiple uses as side table, stool, plant stand or just a beautiful ornamental piece on it's own. The curved spiraling twist is sure to get many admiring comments from all who see it, a piece that will be a feature in any home.

The Monkey Pod collection features many interesting and unusual items, all handmade from the Chiang Mai region of Northern Thailand. Each piece is made from plantation monkey pod wood, a part of the Acacia tree family. Each piece has been sourced through fair trade means - our supplier of Thai pieces ensures that the local craftsman that make these items are paid a fair wage and a good relationship has developed as a result.
