Hand-carved from solid monkey pod wood in Northern Thailand, this wonderful twisted heart stool table is carved from one solid piece of monkey pod / suar wood. Shaped as a heart twisting round its centre and finished with a clear wax polish. The curved spiraling twist is sure to get many admiring comments from all who see it, a piece that will be a feature in any home.
The Monkey Pod collection features many interesting and unusual items, all handmade from the Chiang Mai region of Northern Thailand. Each piece is made from plantation monkey pod wood, a part of the Acacia tree family.
