This solid twist stool table is hand carved from one piece of solid monkey pod wood. Finished in a clear wax polish to enhance the beautiful grain of the wood without darkening it, this stunning piece has multiple uses as side table, stool, plant stand or just a beautiful ornamental piece on it's own. The curved spiraling solid twist is sure to get many admiring comments from all who see it, a piece that will be a feature in any home.
The Monkey Pod collection features many interesting and unusual items, all handmade from the Chiang Mai region of Northern Thailand. Each piece is made from plantation monkey pod wood, a part of the Acacia tree family.
