A beautiful and unique small side table carved into a stack of books from monkey-pod wood from Northern Thailand. Each book is individually handpainted with a different colour with pale book page edges.

The Monkey Pod collection features many interesting and unusual items, all handmade from the Chiang Mai region of Northern Thailand. Each piece is made from plantation monkey pod wood, a part of the Acacia tree family.

Each piece has been sourced through fair trade means - our supplier of Thai pieces ensures that the local craftsman that make these items are paid a fair wage and a good relationship has developed as a result.
