Handmade upholstered "Kilim" red bench with twin tapered pillar legs, handmade from acacia wood. Excellent quality, these benches will look good in a variety of rooms - a hallway, living room bay window, a bedroom, the stunning designs mean these will stand out in any setting.
The Kilim Collection is not knotted it is flat weave & woven by hand by nomads in Afghanistan, Turkmenistan & Rajasthan. Handmade Kilims consist of either cotton or sheep wool as main materials. They were originally used as blankets or to decorate the floors of nomad tents. The high tradition & vivid colourful designs have been used to create these wonderful pieces.
