Handmade from solid teak root, this tree trunk bowl is truly unique. Solid and heavy, the root trunk base is full of character with no two ever the same. Suitable for indoor or outdoor, outside this can be used as a pedestal bowl or even a bird bath! Inside, it could be used as a planter with trailing ivy or similar for an effective room feature, or a fruit bowl or just an ornamental piece in its own right.
Handmade from solid teak, the Java Teak range of tree furniture and accessories originate from the Indonesian island of Java. All the pieces in this range are fairly traded. The teak wood is hand carved and sanded to a smooth waxed finish.
The teak root tree furniture is made from the root of teak trees, a by-product that would normally go to waste. Each piece is lovingly hand-crafted to create these unique, wonderful items. Due to the nature of the teak root, the shape and appearance of each one will vary greatly so the pictures are examples but the one you receive will be completely unique, with no two pieces looking the same.
