Beautifully hand-crafted solid teak root mushroom table from Java, Indonesia. With a chunky teak root base and mushroom shape top, this is a very solid and sturdy piece. No two are identical due to the natural variations in the teak root. Ideal as a side table / lamp table or plant stand. The mushroom top does have a flat centre section for placing items on.
Handmade from solid teak, the Java Teak range of tree furniture and accessories originate from the Indonesian island of Java. All the pieces in this range are fairly traded. The teak wood is hand carved and sanded to a smooth waxed finish.
The teak root tree furniture is made from the root of teak trees, a by-product that would normally go to waste. Each piece is lovingly hand-crafted to create these unique, wonderful items.
